cafes and attractions (15mins easy walk) or perhaps visit the National Trust's Stagshaw Gardens and Skelghyll Wood (10 mins walk from Ambleside Pier),
a tranquil garden of rambling paths, shrubs and trees including woodland and lake views before the return cruise to Bowness.
